Is Your Plant based diet healthy?

Last January I embraced ‘Meat Free Mondays’ (although not always on a Monday!) in response to the environmental concerns as well as wanting to improve my repertoire of vegetarian and vegan recipes for the family.  We have experimented with new and exciting flavours and… Continue Reading “Is Your Plant based diet healthy?”

Eat well this Winter

As we approach the shortest day, in the middle of a pandemic, it can be hard to focus on the positives! One of the positives to self isolation is that my family and I are all at home together.  Without the usual weekly commitments there is more time to cook and eat as a family.  It’s a great opportunity to get children involved in food… Continue Reading “homemade pizza”

Healthy Packed Lunches – check it’s balanced!

It’s a clinic day for me today which means I’m away from home for lunch.  On the days when I am away from home I usually take my lunch with me.  That way I look forward to what I have, it’s ready to eat… Continue Reading “Healthy Packed Lunches – check it’s balanced!”

Is your Plant Based Diet healthy?

Throughout January I have been substituting some of the family meals for more vegetarian options.  This was in response to the recent environmental concerns as well as wanting to improve my repertoire of vegetarian and vegan recipes and experiment with new and exciting flavours… Continue Reading “Is your Plant Based Diet healthy?”
